Blazblue is super fun but it is at the end of its life. DBF rises to take its place. Consider that or GG and forget about BB unless you really like it. That said, DBF will probably have an absurd amount of players. The hype for that game is unreal. Arcsys does a good job of supporting any game that is "alive", so expect that at least

Just because their animations show two characters doesn't mean they're puppet characters. Would you say Sol was a puppet character if he had exact same moveset except some of his moves had an animation where a second character appears? Of course not. Puppet character means you can control and attack with those two characters at the same time.
AFAIK the only puppet char in P4A is the kid with the dog

BB is harder to begin with, easier to master

Basically GG favors nufags a tiny bit more, BB has more setplay(a series of movement/attacks/gameplan that works against most of the cast).

GG will stay alive down the road, BB is at its last iteration and at most will receive 1-2 DLC characters, no new version. I'm a BB main but even I would have to go with GG in your case.

GG has more refined mechanics, while BB has more characters and less thought put into it with loads of bullshit characters in it (Izanami, Izayoi, Nine, Carl, Arakune, Rachel, etc) which makes the tiers feel really separate.
In Xrd unless you're playing as Pot or Slayer you might have a chance, even against Sin or Johnny.
Both are shit compared to old school GG though.

You control and attack with the characters and their personas similtaneously nigga with lots of the specials and even some of the persona normals, just like Relius 214c, 2d, 6d, etc. I used a shit-ton of the same setups on Yu/Chie that I used with Relius (persona self projectile while pc jumps in for low iad/landing low 50/50 into okizem resets). I feel like you haven't played either Relius or P4A with your statement.

Nah, after going back to +R, I have to say Rev is much more refined and feels less janky then AC versions... Especially the aerial. Also, spacing is much more prominent in Rev than it ever was in XX.

GG is more popular in the US, BB is more popular in 日本, and BB is more fun.

GG characters feel unique compared to SF or a lot of other fighting games, but GG characters all feel the same compared to BB. BB is NOT afraid to do crazy, unique shit, and that's why I love it.

I always say this, Xrd is a good game until you get knocked down. Then the game might as well be over, oki is so strong to the point where a ton of games are decided by who gets the first KD.

BB is far more fair and is more neutral focused.

it does, you just have more options to deal with it for the most part. I mean yeah if izanami or rachel knock you down in the corner you basically have no tech options and just have to hold it but its nowhere near the amount of bullshit you just have to guess on like in GG. Like in GG even midscreen everyone feels like valkenhayn just putting you in endless 50/50s. I love GGs neutral and footsie game and wish there was more of it to play. If GG had BBs strong defensive mechanics and had things like tech rolling then it'd probably be my favorite game.

This isn't the case with Relius, some of his D's don't have that.
However, to compare Ignis and personas to a fireball is a bad comparison. For example Raven's fireball doesn't have follow-ups, can't be poked away, the fireball doesn't have meters/tarots, the fireball can't turn around and come at you once you get behind it.

Whatever Relius and the P4A characters are, there some kind of puppet characters, even if the personas can't go into start-up without a mc animation. They have a lot more in common with Eddy/Carl than they do with say Raven, so they're some sort of hybrid.
