Slime rancher.
Close second any of the Harvest moon series.
I want to go back.
Kirby's Epic Yarn
Battlefield 1 is comfy af for me. Not caring about rank or leaderboard position is sweet.

How is Slime Rancher? Saw it on sale the other day.
>>382283916
All this talk of massive procedurally generated worlds for Beyond Good and Evil 2, and I just hope they have a nice hub environment like the island lighthouse.
>>382285264
>would go out and buy a Switch this very instant and then come home because I can't find one

Animal Crossing GCN.

>>382288132
Jokes on you, I'm already subbed to that channelfor when I wanna cry.
Comfiest game I have played in years.
>>382287023
Being able to go back to that area in 2 as apart of the open world would be amazing, especially if they keep everything where it was.
>>382288240Sorry Anon ... truth is I'm just as heartbroken after all these years and don't have any other way of dealing with it ...
Literally the most comfy series out there and you can't proof me wrong
>>382288498
I dunno man, something about that game breaks me and I don't know why.
you know it's true
>>382288721
of course it is but /v/ says its bad so sorry anon I have to call you a fag
>>382288721
That game is a snoozefest once you actually run out of ideas, which ins't long for me because I'm the "can't put thoughts into words/can't express myself very well" kind of autist and not the "never shuts the fuck up about his wacky ideas" kind of autist.
>>382288579
These days I just try to forget it. If I don't, I start down there 'What if there really _is_ a game that captures some of that magic RIGHT NOW that I'm missing out on?' and I start to go nuts trying to find it.
who remember
>>382288431
I guess that it'll be before anyone we know has been born, but it'd be a nice callback.
>>382288915
That was me for the last few years until what little I had of my soul withered away, I just gave up on everything. The game ruined my life and changed it for the better at the same time.
It's strange that we're sad about the same thing, but it's under different circumstances. You would hate my guts if I told you why though.
I actually enjoy this game, but fuck is it a pain to physically play these wii games...
>>382289268
I wonder why they stopped making those, I hear they were fucking amazing.
>>382289086
my nigga
>>382289148
Assuming the story involves Jade's parents in any way there's a solid chance we'd at least see Pey'j.
All it needed was some snow levels.
I'm not even sure it was intentional for a trilogy of games to be so comfy, but I can't think of a platformer of that era to come anywhere close.
>>382289314
The camera is a pain in the ass in the first game, and the choice system isn't deep in the slightest, but it's still a worthwhile game, I think. Can't speak for the second.
Spyro the Dragon

Fun for 3-5 hours.
>>382289203

>>382289602
>replay the PS1 Crash trilogy
>Have fun, but still get frustrated as much as I did as a wee lad
>replay the PS1 Spyro trilogy
>comfy as shit
>still feels just as good as it did 19 years ago

I know i definitely completed the game but i do not remember the ending
I can't find any game that capture the word comfy more than this.
The interiors are pretty comfy
Minecraft is the ultimate comfy game, you can't deny this.

>>382290351

>>382290760

Any comfy games with a snowy setting? Todd posters will die in their sleep
>>382290664

Doesn't get more comfy than driving in the rain thru the mountains while listening to a ´90s radio station.
>>382290904

>>382283916
Crypt of the necrodancer.
Just chill and groove
>>382290993
Did American Truck Simulator ever end up not sucking?
>>382290760
who cares, its a term for something that isn't always efficient (like as a game for example) but has things surrounding it like the art aspect or OST that make it appealing and almost heartwarming.
why does this meme word bother you, while none of the other ones do? (calling ppl reddit, fpbp, shill, spook, cuck) it's just 4chan words, stop getting triggered
>>382290760
The same way people overuse any word. The people that use it in a genuine manner are not taken serously because th word has lost it's meanong.
>>382291060
Don't say that. He loves you.
>>382291102
why does nobody ever talk about this goodness of this game on /v/? its the only jap rpg i will ever play
Braid wishes it was that sexy
beyond good and evil has always been american multikulti garbage
>>382288867
It's basically a perfect game for 8 year olds.
I knew one who had real aesthetic sense; no dirt and wood shithouse for her. Put me to shame and I am a 30 year old man who has seen The Fountainhead.
>>382291102
Best Mana game. I got it for a friend as a birthday present knowing nothing about it other than that it looked cool and he gave it back to me when he moved away a year or so later. Replay it all the time, absolutely gorgeous.
>>382290428
>>382288569
Only played the PS1 version, but if it's more of the same then pretty comfy
Here's mine
>>382283916
evil genius.
>>382291064
I think the american setting is waay too boring.
Too many highways, too much flat terrain, too little variety.
>>382291102
Sweet Jesus, that fucking game.
I said when I got to Lumina: I want to live here when I die.
>>382291394
I've had that game for like 6 years and still haven't played it.
The dude at the pawnshop said it sucked andmy stepdadgot it anyway.
>>382290760
quit being uncomfy. relax, essay.
>>382290760
I always wondered this myself, but I love comfy threads.
>>382290760
The first time i see it start to taking shape i think it was two years ago, some anon opened a thread talking that he was in the porch of his with a blanket and it was drizzling gently, he was with his notebook or a handheld console playing something like harvest moon or animal crossing i don't remember.
Everyone started talking about the weather at their places, and a bunch of people became inspired by the porch blanket anon and started set up comfy setups, and talk about comfy games to play while at it, the thread became big, hit bump limit, someone opened a second thread about "comfy gaming" and the rest is history.
>>382291487
>that childlike storybook art
platinum comfyness
>>382291997
>The first time i see it start to taking shape i think it was two years ago
fuck no
"comfy" on /v/ has been a thing for at LEAST five years
>>382292361
Read it again.
>The first time I start to see it
>I
Retard.
>>382292361
It could be, i don't have a real frame of time for this.
I am a neet, i was at the same place, same desk, same computer i just remember the thread, people posting pictures of comfy places and everything.
>>382291525
...and you listened to that faggot. The game is a actually great action adventure game. I'm mad that there's no sequel to it after 14 years later.
>>382292590
Too late now, my xbone and 360 take up too much space for me to set up my PS2
>>382290760
Autistic people who don't realize that intangible things cannot be comfortable, the word itself implies PHYSICALLY comfortable
always seemed comfy to me. Pretty repetitive, light on story, can't really die. it's babby's crpg
>>382289086
>not on steam
>not on GOG
>pirated version doesn't work on new OS
>>382292805

>Cuter girls than Animal Crossing

Shame it never took off compared to Animal Crossing.
>>382290285
>le duck meme
when will it end? that puzzle was kinda self explanatory since you've had like 2 items and 5 locations, no way you could not figure it out
>>382293386
The art style was also great for it's time as well.
>>382293396
Dreamfall's stealth sections were way worse.
>>382293575
The whole game was garbage in comparion to TLJ, it reminded me of the transition from Thief 2 to Thief 3 and i hated it with all my soul
>>382292687
That's a terrible excuse anon. Just place the console in vertical position for christ sake.
>>382293795
I have a soft spot for it because I played it first, but the "gameplay" additions were definitely the weakest part of it.
Apart from one great moment I accidentally had Zoe knock a random company employee unconscious during a haphazard infiltration mission. The combat was awful, but I liked that there were alternate solutions to some puzzles built around it.
>>382293878
>xboxes

If only you understood how hueg they are.
