I think Def Ploy has a lot of potential on the few physical melee units in the game that have high res. And yeah, Close Defense will be abusable. Seal Atk/Spd will have some niche usage. Ardent Sacrifice, Reposition and Vantage are always good fodder. The other 10 skills are worthless.

Overall, rolling grey will be the best for SI fodder for once.

None of the new units have amazing stats, so I'm probably going to roll just for their skills. Which will be the best on other units? A lot of them seem suited to tanky armored units.

Paired with actual fury, that's +5 to every stat on the first turn, or after a full heal. The dagger is interesting because it might be better on Kagero than her default weapon, now that horses rule the arena. A +spd, life and death kagero would have 52 atk, 42 spd on her first round.

A Zephiel with this + panic ploy gives him more HP than anything in the game, activating it no matter what, plus a small boost to his defenses.

This seems like a ridiculously good stat to me, but then again you don't see many distant defense 3 builds out there. Any ideas?
