What changed since the vanilla release of DoW2? Did they change any mechanics? Did they increase the scale of the combat?

To be honest I didn't stand DoW2, it was shitty and unbalanced as FFFFFUUCK and pretty shallow and stale super fast, but Retribution added some things and factions that made it bearable to fun for awhile... until you realize how it's still super unbalanced and not quite mega fun. There was a unnoficial rebalance mod called Elite which it's what most people play if they want to have some semblance of strategy and tactics involved and it's quite popular, but like I said if you're not rolling that mod it's just """""fine"""""" in a strange way.

But certainly, as shitty as it looked DoW2 back then, it's got nothing shitty when compared to the truly shitshow and a blunder that is DoW3. Now THAT it's what I call a fuck up.
