Crash has always been limited compared to open 3D games like Mario 64. The game is highly linear and full of 2.5D. The only thing that elevated it over superior SNES games was the "woah 3D graphix." Remaking Crash was always a shitty idea and reveals the desperation at the heart of Sony fans, believing they are on the same level as Nintendo.
