Yes, all limited servants get a rate up for their event, and there's usually only one limited 5 star per event.
It's also why Davinci was the single biggest pain in the ass to get if you didn't get her in the first day, since after that there'd be 1-2 other 5 stars with rate up as well.

You could burn them for pitiful amounts of QP, and the 3* and 4* will give you one mana prism as well. You can use them for a pitiful amount of EXP to another character.

But in your case, especially with a 4* servant, you want to Noble Phantasm merge them.

Or if you mean a Heracles Alter, I'd suspect it would more likely just be a standard Heracles variant. Alter versions tend to be twisted or evil versions of characters, not wildly heroic ones.

They are 20 mana prisms per ticket. In the JP game they restock every month, and we're assuming the same happens here.

To get mana prisms, clear the daily fights or sell/burn 3* or higher cards. The first set of fights ("Enter Gathering" with two class symbols) always drop EXP cards, although you'll need to visit the 30AP to get some 3* cards and the 40AP to guaranteed just 3* and 4* cards.

Berserkers notoriously die quickly in those fights, so don't try bringing two or three and expecting a steamroll.

Rulers have their own cycle, where Rulers beat Moon Cancer, which beats Avengers, which beat Rulers. But that's not for awhile, and given that there is exactly one Moon Cancer character, it's not hard to just run an Avenger.

Honestly, the whole triangle feels strange. I'm used to Lancer beating Saber, not just because of Fire Emblem, but because a fucking guy with a spear is going to have reach advantage and able to hold off the guy with the sword.

Assassin beats Rider beats Caster beats Assassin is the same thing. I'd assume that Assassins beat Casters since they can steak up on them, Casters beat Riders because they can nuke the horse, and Riders beat Assassins because they can just run them down.

I keep screwing up both triangles, although I generally have servants with good enough skills (and keep a selection in the back row anyways) and so generally manage to pull through anyways.

It's not that difficult to max a character at this point. Jeanne's that were smart took advantage of the right quests the other day to get her ascension done. Condicering you can farm the 40AP quest several times thanks to getting level ups each time for 20 or so levels it gives you a ton of AP to burn through, tons of cards to level her and hopefully the right drops for ascension.

So yeah a few people who planned it right can max her without paying anything. When the batman prep works it's amazing.

It seems this game not only has hell rates but its hell grinding, being hard to even max your own units (unlike of other gachas were its either hard grinding or pulling, never both)

So what are some tips for a complete moron? How should I enhance my characters? What are those fou cards they gave us? In my party, even if I am not using 3 characters who should I put?

And yes, that is a mistake. There's no point in buying the EXP cards just to get the bonus for Jeanne and Mash. You can farm EXP cards of every class far cheaper and just feed them directly.

Rider Medusa has a nice NP nuke, dealing good damage for something that hits everyone. Her attacks generate a good number of stars and NP gain, thanks to hitting a bunch of times. But her first skill (enemy stun) has a terrible success rate at the beginning. Might be better when fully upgraded, but that's a long ways off.

Her second skill is a two turn self ATK buff. Her third is a self NP charge. She might be good at full power, although she is just fairly okay from the beginning. (Also, Fuyuki is full of assassins so you can hardly use her there.)

I have Ushiwakumaru, but haven't used her. I've been leveling up Georgios on the side and so am more likely to try him out first.

I don't have shota Alexander.

Depends on what you mean by max, it's relatively easy to reach the first level cap.

Ascending and increasing that level cap after that isn't too bad. Reaching the next lot of level caps gets progressively more grindy but there's not much you can do to improve it really, hence the grind.

To back to the main terminal. (Hit Close/Terminal in the upper left.) Go to Chaldea Gate, then Daily Quests. The first batch are labeled "Enter Gathering", are green, and show two class symbols. Grab some decent servants which beat those types and play through which ones you are leveled for.

Those quests give massive amounts of MC EXP when compared to story quests, enough to almost level you up with each fight. Gaining a level gives you your max AP on top of whatever AP you had, going over max. So, you can continue to repeat the quest over and over. Plus, those quests give EXP cards of the appropriate classes, meaning you can boost up your servants really quickly. Level them up, then you can take them to the next level of Enter Gathering fights (which repeats the process).

>What are those fou cards they gave us?
Fou cards give characters an ATK or HP boost independent of their level. You can check a servant's status, and you'll see a 0/990 under their ATK and HP. That's how many Fou points you've put into them, and it permanently boosts their stat to that amount. Obviously, you can only add 990 to any one stat of any servant.

Fou cards can either be general (anyone can use them) or specific to one class, in which case only a servant of that class can use them. They get used just like EXP cards.
