I was pretty disappointed with the MSQ. Compared to HW, the lead up to it was pretty shitty, and the whole thing felt silly at times, with Lyse being unbearable and the Garleans a complete laughing stock except for Zenos who was eirdly strong but could be defeated through... leveling up. And while the whole Shinryu fight was pretty neat, atmosphere wise I enjoyed pope man and his knights a lot more than the former.

I remember having trouble reaching the ilevel requirement for the level 60 post game dungeons at the start of Heavensward. Dinged level 60, beat the main story and wanted to do the expert dungeons to unlock the roulette right away. NOPE. I had terrible luck in dungeon gear drops and my gear was trash.

I got toto rak for the first time in a roulette since I've been back, I soon remembered why this is considered one of the worst dungeons in the game. Had two new players, one returning player, all being outdamaged by me as a paladin. Bard spamming AoE attack on as little as two mobs, pugilist not doing a lot of damage, 60 white mage constantly spamming aero, though when I told him he should use stone instead of using aero immediately he actually listened so I guess there was some success.

Aurum Vale is easy, just for the second boss swipe it's a cone, swing it's a circle aoe around him, eye attacks just stand behind him. For first boss pick up one of the flower things at 2 stacks, last boss pick up at 3 or 4. It's not as hard as people make it out to be, it just has too much trash pulls.

Eh I can see what he means. The story is pretty good this time around, but nothing feels new. Its all been there done that. We get new story and dungeons every patch, the new zones aren't particularly thrilling and you don't spend much time in them anyway unless you autistically do all of the menial side quests.

It's just a slightly bigger patch. Most games expansions add exciting new features or concepts that change up how you progress and play the game, not just more stuff.

Marketers, what do you think is more likely to increase sales in either successfully making the sale or money gain or both? Matching lowest price and spreading out retainer locations, or undercutting by 1gil every time?
I know there are people that buy the one that got undercut to spite the 1gil undercutter, but I think more people literally do not care than people who do this. People might start hard undercutting wars if you undercut by any amount which lowers how much you make at the end.
Currently I have my retainers split bewtween Limsa and Kugane because these are the only cities whos marketboards arent separated by loading zones, and I don't think a majority of players are actually privy to how the tax system works and just buy the "cheapest" thing without teleporting to save.
I'm trying to determine if I should stop undercutting by 1gil and switch to matching lowest price.
