I don't know man, I just finished the game after getting it on summer sale and wanted a thread.
Main character is adorable and I couldn't stand to trap him in that world even if it was the bad ending. I didn't even like the game that much but I'm making a stuffed doll of Niko.

Oneshot. It's fairly cheap, $6 on sale, took me about 4 hours. It's a game that's not quite great though. There's a lot of interesting ideas but not quite great execution of any of those ideas. For example, the title feature Oneshot would only really be effective if this game was loaded with tough decisions, but the ending just has you pick between 2 things (with a third ending you have to new game+ for). The meta puzzle stuff would be interesting but it never really challenges you or comes off as particularly clever. The second person stuff would be interesting if it wasn't purely just in dialog every so often and you weren't for all game purposes in absolute direct control of Niko at all times.

Still it's worth pirating or picking up for cheap if the idea of exploring a weird world through an adventure game interests you.

Was the "you have only one shot" thing cut from the steam release? I heard they removed it so that people who bought the game don't sue them for denying access to the game after they lost.

A guy commissioned me to draw the protagonist and didnt pay so I hate it.

The real save file isn't hard to access and delete, it's just in the appdata/roaming. The game can be 100% reset by just deleting that. The game also gives you a fake save it tells you to delete that starts new game+. This was made more for the third endings sake that for any legal issues though.

Probably no greater use for it than personal reasons. If you got 80% of an image for free which was enough for the jist of it and had no real use for it outside of a quick fap, you probably wouldn't pay the rest.
I feel bad for him, it's always a painful lesson to learn that people will do anything to flake out on paying an artist.

How well does drawing on a 2-dimensional space translate into moving your arms in 3D space to draw? It seems to me like it'd be pretty tricky.

Starting up in Tilt Brush I had zero traditional drawing skills. so I cant really answer that question.
But at the same time, i would say its a lot about drawing theory, like, having the discipline to sketch, then go over, and build on something rather than just draw it outright.
