I don't have any problem with VN's themselves and if a VM is just straight porn from the beginning that's fine. Its just for those ones where they obviously spent considerable time writing an actual narrative, why they would not just make it all ages to begin with seeing as it's much easier to market and sell the all age versions to more mainstream consumers since many retailers and advertisers don't touch adult materials. You could cut like 90% of them though.

I really hate it when a sex scene pops up and everyone drops character and the MC starts piledriving the girl like it's a girlsdoporn video.
I don't want to have read like 10 hours of development to be kicked out of the story for a redtube hentai tier scene then pulled back in.

Whether you love porn or not, porn should just be porn from the get go and sometimes there's just a serious disconnect caused by the sex scenes if it just doesn't feel like something people like those characters would do in that kind of situation, sometimes too the sex acts themselves are just kind of weird even in context. Even if it does make sense for those characters to have sex, chances are in any similar real life situation, the people having sex probably in all likelihood wouldn't be having sex like THAT, especially if their personalities were the same as they are in the game. That kinda stuff can kill immersion cause it sort of reminds you that this is just pure escapism
