The story is great but it has the slowest, most awful battle system I've ever experienced. Most battles aren't even hard, which makes how glacial it is even worse.

I ended up cheating the shit out of it so I could turn off random encounters.

The story and the characters might be fucking amazing, but the protagonist is gay and the battle system is complete and utter garbage, so you're wrong.

If it was remade with the P5 engine it would be able to compete, but since that will never happen, you should kys right now and end it

There's no real need to. The Other Side is just Xibalba floating over a dead world and there's no real way to "access" it. Same reason they don't bring up the Dark Hour, or the TV World, or probably never Mementos again. They're all good as gone.
