Top-Down 2D is better because at the very least it sometimes has bullet-hell like gameplay and some neat puzzles, whereas 3D Zelda has always been shit tier 3D action combat and the worst fucking "puzzles" you've ever had to waste 25 seconds screwing with

Twilight Princess is better for about the first half, but there is a deep dip in quality from snowpeak mansion(after the snowboarding) that it doesn't recover from. Ganon was trash too. The atmosphere was perfect for the fight in WW, but in TP, they just throw you out on the field with worst color palette in a zelda game.

What infuriate me the most about WW Darknuts is that you have to play REALLY dumb if you want to kill these without the QTE thing. I started a 3 hearts no QTE run, and realised it was fucking impossible because there's a little room in the wind temple with 3 darknuts; if you try to do it skillfully with some dodges, you will unintentionally use the QTE, and if you don't you'll die.

Whats with this WW is GOAT meme? It is piss easy, the boat feature is ass, the dungeons nothing special, there are no really memorable charaters(new ones), the artstyle is hard to like, no outstanding feature that elevates it from other Zelda games.

It's the exact opposite though, the first half is borderline torture with the extended tutorial in Ordon Village and all the Wolf sections where you collect the bugs. Once you get past Lakebed Temple though it becomes the best Zelda game but before that it's the worst.

I mean fuck, most of this applies to everything since MM, 2D and 3D. The only reason I liked the Oracles is because they at least seemed to have some creative spark and originality, and I'm a sucker for the GBC/GBA aesthetic.
Who the fuck ever talks about LoZ's characters or combat or score or level design outside of Nintendo/LoZ threads specifically? They have absolutely no claim to how games, BETTER games, are made. When nostalgic fucks like you and I die out, so will the series. Kids don't care about this shit, and even though the games they do care about are also shit (GTA, CoD, among others), at least they tend to have halfway-decent gameplay.
