I hope to fucking christ they get the art director for Halo Wars 2 to work on Halo 6. Even with the blemishes Halo Wars 2 art style actually feels like Halo unlike fucking 4 and 5. How they managed to get the Spartans right for HW2 and so so wrong for Halo 4 and 5 baffles me.

Explain what makes the Scarab fights fun. I don't think you're wrong, I'm just curious how you would explain it. I'm personally have a hard time parsing it outside of "variety of options."

I'd say it's mainly exactly how you stated it. With the scarab there are so many ways you can board it in Halo 3 and the whole sandbox of vehicles, movement, and weapons are put into use. Whereas the Kraken was just vehicles -> on foot -> vehicles.

This is one of my favorite if not my favorite level ever. I'm not a huge Halo fan, but this was just fantastic and I'm not sure another game will ever match this.

The open ended approach and sandbox game play made scarab battles in 3 fun. You not only had a slew of weapons and vehicles but you also had a huge open terrain to run around in and dodge plasma beams. And that feeling of when you destroy the core and run frantically to safety or else you'll blow up, all without any cutscenes or scripted events was awesome
