True, if it becomes too popular and steals Halo's audience I can see it getting the C&D from Microsoft like Nintendo did with AM2R but since Halo's audience is bigger than Metroid's chances are that may not happen. They need to prove themselves with Halo 6 before they can finally get people to accept them.

Because 343 are sadly a dev team that bleeds talent with every game they make. As much as I hate Halo 4 it at least had a story that had honest passion behind it as the main creative lead based on his mothers struggle with dementia. As someone who also had to go through that I can imagine how much the guy had to really suffer to use that as an inspiration for Cortana going rampant. Next game he's out of the creative seat despite him not coming up with the retarded forerunner shit that was the actual problem with the Halo 4 story. The guy behind Republic Commando is in charge of Halo 5s campaign, gets almost no creative input, leaves right after Halo 5 ships. Now Tom French who is the guy who basically made all of the good features that made it into Halo 5 like the fantastic additions to Forge and the Custom Games browser is now in charge of Halo 6 and he'll no doubt he pushed to the side despite him probably being the most talented person at 343. Also he worked on The Saboteur which is pretty goddamn underrated.

But Tim Longo was the Creative Director of Halo 5 and he is still at 343 as the Creative Director, he came up with the squad combat. I think you are talking about Brian Reed who was the game's Writer and later became Narrative Director before being fired and replace for Halo 6. That fuck bag cut the actual interesting storyline that was supposed to be about Chief's close connection to Blue Team and Halsey out of the game because he wanted players to have the same experience they had with ODST and Reach (Bungie's worst Halo games). What a fucking idiot.
