Better than battlefront 1 by a mile so far, not sure about heroes yet. They're not as easy to obtain now with the battlepoint system so I've not had a chance to play one for long.

They're much weaker than in the first game though, but also have regenerating health.

The guns still have the overheat mechanic, but it has more depth in that you can choose when to vent your weapon and if you do it within a certain frame you get not heat up for a short period of time. You can also vent your weapon before it overheats to per-emptively recharge it so to speak

They're not pin point, much less accurate than in the first game. Also aiming down the sights, crouching and standing still increases accuracy. Likewise hipfire, jumping, running etc decreases accuracy by a lot.

They also have weapon customization this time around so you can equip different scopes and whatnot to your weapoins. Though its not added in the build I'm playing so I can't tell you in details how that works. Certainly more in-depth than the first game.

Small improvements but not enough, especially considering everyone will be playing in third person. Battlefield 1 Currently has almost the same amount of players as B4 for a reason, the gunplay is stale and there's no depth. Yes and they are also locked out depending on the phase of the map. For example when you're fighting inside the temple there's no need for vehicles so they're blocked out by default

Keep in mind though they've said the score required to earn things isn't finalized yet. Heroes are cheaper than they are going to be in the full game so people can quicker try them out for example. The other specials are very much more powerful. The wrist rocket is a one-hit kill and the rocket launcher is the same thing. They also have much more health.

What is the gunplay like compared to BF1? Specifically the ads and hipfire and accuracy. Is hipfire still viable in BF2? ~Thanks.

The special classes sound pretty tough compared to normal classes, but what I was really getting as is do you think they're more valuable/powerful than the vehicles that they outprice? Normally I would think a tank or starfighter is better than a B2 or jet trooper, since one is heavily armored with a tank cannon and the other can fly forever compared to their infantry counterparts.
