90% of people who lament about "the death of the franchise" don't play Halo anymore period, no Halo Online, no MCC, no 5, no arranging custom games to relive good times on their favorite game. They're mostly just people who used to play Halo and occasionally nostalgiapost. Notice for all the Halo posting on here that mostly consists of how good things used to be, the only fucking time someone actually suggests people play is the occasional /hg/ poster coming in, from a general that's on life support at this point because nostalgiafags don't want to contribute there either they just complain on /v/.

I played Halo 2 on XBL back in the day then moved onto 3 when I finally got a 360. Never got the XB1 but after playing Reach and 4 the game lost its charm maybe I grew up but the community in 2/3 was fantastic and then they butchered the game with AA and the shoddy custom games. I don't have an opinion on the MCC all I know is that when the game was released it was piss poor.

While I don't agree with the guy on Halo 4's campaign being spectacular I did find it decent at best.
