I beat Genocide one morning without meaning to. Genocide is literally two hours if you're horrible. You spend half the time on that route just spinning in circles killing monsters.

Nah, none of his attacks really track you except for dragon blasts like Undying. There's no real skill to it, once you learn how an attack works it works that way 100% of the time and the attacks that do try and track you are really easy to dodge.

He's still about as mechanically challenging as Undying, her attacks aren't any less predictable to beat with the right tactics. The circles of spears seem like a nightmare but once you get the hang of them they're really not too bad.

Even as someone who's beaten Undertale six times I don't see the point of a neutral route. That goes for any game really. It's not like Mass Effect or Fallout where even if you're trying to 100% play a certain way you'll still have moments where you pick the other option out of nothing but a moral obligation because you couldn't stomach the other one.

Games that can do that deserve to have choices, Undertale is basically one good game that has an edgy side story if you're interested.

I hate to believe it, too, but there are actually people that are completely ignorant of what you can do in their first playthrough. At the end of the neutral route, whether you've been killing at all or not, the point where you choose to kill or spare Flowey is a test to see if you would care about sparing everybody in the game or not- that's why when you kill Flowey, he doesn't show up to suggest that you try sparing everyone else. But if you spare him, it means you, the player, might be interested in sparing everybody. It's a great way of sending off people who don't care enough about it- people that don't know about being able to spare everybody will either leave it at the neutral ending or try to mess around if they actually do care enough- even if they "killed" Flowey.

You're being overly sensitive because you weren't able to figure things out the first time.
