It's EA's fault. You bring in a bunch of people who don't know how to handle thinking on their feet in front of an audience/camera, and this is bound to happen. Most "YouTube creators" are hacks who can't cut it when they have to perform outside of their meticulously crafted recording conditions.

From what he said, they told him conflicting things and then caught him off guard. He was expecting to come on in 10 and then the lights came up and he was promoted to say something, so he looked at the teleprompter and it wasn't the script he was given earlier. He muddles through the first few minutes then goes off the script he had learnt.

No idea who this guy is but kind of feel bad that this has blown up if it went down as he said it did.

Regardless of the details, he telegraphed the whole thing himself. Any minor change to the script or the exact layout would make him spaghetti, whereas professionals would be able to handle their shit, and do all the time.

I feel bad for him, don't get me wrong. They asked him to do this, when he's clearly not a professional, and this is what happened.
