They don't in that game. You can breed any two digimon.

Some of them have had clear genders in the anime and manga, but the way evolution works still means that Angewomon can evolve from Angemon. So they don't necessarily keep them.

Yes they have a gender but no actual sex to back it up, since they are just semi-sentient data that copy aspecta of humans and the human world.

What's the deal with the gameplay balance for Cyber Sleuth? It's all over the place.
>In Training 1 everywhere at the start which makes sense
>Then In Training 2 once you move a bit further which also makes sense.

On Hard mode you basically have to have a team of Megas by chapter 6 or you are screwed and at least have one Mega in 5. Was it just trivial on normal or something and that's how they made it hard? By throwing Megas earlier than you would be expected to have them? Hell, I don't know if I'd even have Ultimates by chapter 7 on a normal playthrough but on Hard it's required to have Megas pretty much ASAP, I already have 35 hours into the game and three PlatinumNumemons with Tactical USBs and I'm only in chapter 8 just from all the grinding to beat Jimiken.
