There are divergences of what happened and why something was made. And I frankly doubt Primate Murder is the Fou who became a Beast (because it's still just a glorified pet, instead of an independent dangerous entity).
Heroic Spirits not only protect humanity in FGO, but also the planet, and we've a confirmation the planet doesn't die as she does in Extra. Avalon is the sea within her and Merlin will continue to watch humanity's journey until the end of the universe from there. So this unspoken cooperation between planet and humans looks like win/win for every side. There's a little of pro-ecology message in FGO, it's subtle in comparison to the "hymn of humanity" aspect, but Roman is a treehugger who loves nature and taught Mashu to love nature. The take back history was also "take back the blue sky."

Craft essences only get the big buff when you merge 4 of them IIRC. so unless you have enough or want the small stat boost keeping them seperate just incase you ever want 2 is how I tend to do it.

Getting the quartz is good, I'd recommend doing a mix of dailies and story, get some xp, some mats and try and clear the master missions that give fragments.

Yes. There have been almost continuous threads about FEH since it came out.

Once you complete the story in Fuyuki, you'll want to level up your characters a bit. Then decide if completing the story is a priority, or if gaining levels and mana prisms is more important. If you prefer story, then just stick with what you are doing. If you want to gain levels and mana prisms the fastest, then do to Chaldea Gate and fight the toughest fights you can from the first few quests. They drop a ton more MC experience than story quests, enough to easily level off, and you just get your new Max AP added to your existing AP, even if it takes you over your maximum. You'll easily be able to continue on, beating the next fight and again gaining a level to get even more AP.

I'd say you should probably hit up the XP cards, and money at least once per day. That's a quick 8 mana prisms, which would be foolish to pass up.

Beyond that, you probably do want to complete the story eventually, since some events require you to have progressed in the story.

He's the biggest humanfag, he knows all their flaws and faults, he's seen them all. He still accepts them. He wants to be like them. Arturia is by far the worst 5* that's currently in. Lots of 4*s are much better than her.
Vlad is good but needs a very specific Arts based meme team with Tamamo to really shine, so good luck getting her.
Jeanne is an amazing tank which makes her good if you are still progressing through the game and don't have any units that can kill things quickly just yet, but obviously her usefulness falls off rather quickly since she does pitiful damage.
Alteria is very average, she's nothing really special but can at least be somewhat useful for clearing dailies and the like.
