Cuckstar game already changed their stance and allow mods again. Bethesda won't get away with paid mods, when Valve, who was bigger and better and smarter couldn't get away with it. Mods are here to stay, doesn't matter how many times they get attacked.

microsoft is irrelevant, their store is an epic failure, they have no good quality Xbox and Windows 10 exclusives, they are not a factor in PC gaming and PC gamers mind. Steam is king, after that you have Battle.net, then after a huge powergap comes garbage like origin, uplay, gog etc.

Vega will change that and in early 2019 Navi will launch which features AMDs infinity fabric innovation which will curbstomp anything Nvidia can offer. A Nvidia card that has 100 power and costs 700 forexample, will be no match for a Navi infinity fabric card that has the same 100 power and costs 300, with less energy consumption and heat. AMD is making a huge comeback and I currently have 2000 euros, but I am not going to upgrade and wait till 2019 and then just drop 2000-3000 on an entire new settup.

Not true, you just have to have good taste and 2018 and 2019 a lot of big hitters are going to come out, Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord, Cyberpunk 2077, Star Citizen etc.

Remember when the mere suggestion that Microsoft would do this brought claims they could never do it because it would be suicide? Now they've done it and it seems everyone claims its no big deal. How long till games only get released in the Windows Store, with DRM that requires the lock to be in place and no non-store software to be installed?

Apparently there's been an update to the miner with CUDA support for Nvidia cards have been getting snatched up as well.
The only cards that are safe are the ones that are too low-end to be economical for mining like the 560, and the 1050, and the ones that are too high end and power hungry like the 1080s.
