Is it worth to upgrade my PS4 to a PS4 Pro as a 1080p monitor user? Are the improvements from a regular PS4 to a PS4 Pro noticeable coming from a 1080p point of view? I know some games offer some form of resolution upgrade like NieR Automata running at real 1080p on PS4 Pro, but is it noticeable and worth the upgrade?

There are improvements to a number of games released before the Pro including higher quality resolution and smoother frame rate, but we don't know whether in the future if developers will utilise the full capabilities of the Pro at the expense of the regular PS4, my guess is they will.

I can tell you now performance was not why I bought a PS4. Do you remember the initial Xbone pitch? That shit put me off buying anything by MS for LONG time.

If you want a PS4, and don't have one, get a pro. No reason not to. Future proof in the case of exclusives dropping for it and xbone X in the future.

Otherwise, slim is great. Significantly quieter too. the pro has the cuh-1000's jet engine fans.
