It's moreso present when he's alone with tifa, but you can notice the shift even around the whole team and how they speak to him. cloud still has some zack tendecies in him, but overall that's not who he really is

Still stand with my original statement, the tone and direction of Nomura's work with FF7 after the original game feels more like his reinvision than the original game. Sakaguchi held that series together, and you can feel the lack of his involvement in every game made since he left.
