Playing a game in the language it was made in isn't weeb. I also play Witcher in Polish and Metro in Russian, it just so happens that the most common "foreign language" in games in Japanese.

I never understood it either. Until I played Disgaea 5.
Usually Disgaea eng dubs were energetic and had some effort. But that? Even without knowing the Jap dub it just felt all sorts of wrong from the very first minute.
I've never come across a VO as lazy and unemotional as Seraphina's. And the others also sound just as phoned in.

I looked it up, to no surprise, it was the same VA as 2B in Automata. 2B for the most part is unemotional, so it didn't factor that much. But when I played Automata I raised my eyebrow a couple of times, when I thought "okay I'm pretty sure the original dub is putting some emotions in at this point". But Disgaea 5 is on a whole different level. Its pretty much unplayable.

I dont understand a single word of Japanese, but the energy and emotions are more than enough to live from. D5 made me realize that dub fags were probably right. Its just that they looked at different elements of the dubs than I did, and decided that the Jap dub was better in that regard.

Does ANYONE who has seen a lot of anime characters actually find 3D women attractive?
