I was considering it a few weeks ago and decided to get the HD version on PS3. I have no idea why they didn't release the HD version on PC. If that's an option I suggest going out of your way for that one. Excellent game so I'd say it'd be worth the effort.

To answer your question I had it on uplay. No controller support out of the box, and the aspect radio is fucked (original game was widescreen 4:3, so going 16:9 still gives you black bars. HD version is straight up 16:9).

Again, I haven't played it because I'm trying to finish another game. So while it's sitting there in my library I simply want to know if I should just refund it to buy someting else whether it be for me or a friend.

Who else didn't buy anything? I mean the sales went to shit few years ago, but this one is particularly low. Most of my wishlist either isn't discounted at all, or the discounts are like 25-30%. I miss times when most discounts were 75-90%.

Alright, you guys and these threads have revealed a ton of great games to me over the years, so I'm going to try to make up for it, in a small way.

I'm going to buy Event[0].

I don't know if this game is good. Nobody here has said anything about it. On the surface it looks like a bigger and better version of Gone Home. But you guys are worth the risk, so I'll play it, over the 2 hour limit if necessary, and come back with an opinion. Hopefully before the sale ends.

Origin is a prequel for the whole series and should be played at least after you've played 1+2. The series as a whole is older than the internet and each title has been remade multiple times. Also different graphic/playstyle engines so it gets kinda confusing.

Don't let their oldness fool you. They're all solid action games with very satisfying gameplay once you get the hang of it. Also the best OST ever, not even joking.
