Fate Grand Order lacks a strong franchise tie in like Dragon Ball Z and Yugioh does(both franchises perspective apps have at least a million downloaded).

Also if they did region lock it to the US, then yes they are missing out on the global audience, which explains why their download volume is extremely low. But more than anything else, they lack a current frachise tie in to make it work. Were this app released around the time of Fate Zero, it probably would have gained attention in the states.

I like the story of Fate go, and it means we're going to get new Fate stuff for decades which is fun though rip in pieces any possible FSN2 outside of a go spinoff chapter, but the fact that it requires so little money and effort for them to put in (just some art, writing, and basic sprite work for the most part) and makes SO MUCH back for them, means that any other investment like a high budget action rpg or jrpg is simply unreasonable.
Maybe, MAYBE if Platinum's Granblue game (which seems to be a B budget game not C budget) is successful we'll get something similar from Fate GO, but I find that unlikely.

What should I focus on first? I have a ton of 4* exp cards from yesterday for Archer/Zerker and a bunch today for Lancer/Assassin. Should I funnel them all into my Waver and get him to 60 or should I use them on their respective classes? Tamamo feels really underwhelming right now, I'd rather use my friend's 50 herc support. Bamco has probably noticed the success of Fate GO, but at most they'd be considering "how do we make a Dark Souls clone in this universe?"
Squeenix prefers their own studios making new IPs or rehashing their old IPs.

Best hope would be Activision, Nintendo, Sony (though I think they'll just stick with Fate GO), Marvelous (C budget still, but something with more depth than Extella), or Type-Moon themselves finding a developer to do it.

There's not really any other studios out there that do these kind of things.

Nasu wrote Altera's entire story for Extella. He also wrote the final chapter and the outline for Nero and Tamamo's chapters.

These things don't take long to write. Fate GO only gets a substantial chapter once every 2-4 months, and even then, I imagine it's something NASU can write up in a few weeks, a month with editing.

The one thing about Fate GO that pisses me off for battle is that you can't choose what target you switch to after one is killed.
I understand the strategy of switching between servants for attacking in order to quickly go to the next target, but sometime I don't want to target the monster/servant in the front / middle row, sometime I want to target the one in the middle / back row. I feel like the game would feel a lot more strategic if you were allowed to choose the 2nd priority target.

Technically the first event is going to be the servant event where you the green daily is specified towards earning a specific servant's materials, but more importantly, earning a quartz.

If you're saving for any servants, go for the 15p mission and not the 30p missions. Both give you 1 quartz, so you can grind the hell out of the 15p for two weeks to save up a lot of rolls.
This is essential if you're looking to get Gil.
