Again I think the problem here is that our fantasy MvC game was just never meant to be. With every new game the roster size just keeps decreasing. I'm sure MvcI DLC will pad that number up to around 3's but on launch it is a pitiful roster considering the series.

I mean I remember when MVC3 was announced and my friend and I were debating who would get in and which obscure entries could get in. We assumed the roster would be bigger than MVC2's. Of course that didn't happen. Yet the roster size just continues to shrink. They even don't want to do 3v3 anymore.

So yeah even if we don't complain about roster sizes if the game itself was at least good it wouldn't be as much of an issue but not even that can MVCI seem to get right.

Capcom is pretty awful, though. I'm fine with Arthur and even Spencer (as long as he's the correct one), but Firebrand? And Nemesis? I'm fine with reusing assets, but at least bring back some more interesting characters like fucking Wesker or diversify your selection of series with Frank or Ammy. And of all the characters to make from the ground-up, Jedah? I get it, he's a male DS character and that's generally a big deal, but back to the diversity of series represented with such a small roster, why not someone like CapCom, or maybe Ruby Heart? So yeah, I'll give them a 9.
