Never played a game in this series before, should I buy this

The remake is an alright game, you'd be better off playing the actual original though.
Mad Max is a truly terrible game. Has almost no real content in it, you can find something better.

Go ahead buy it, it's a solid action adventure TPS, but I recommend looking up the original games cutscenes afterwards

This game gets old fast, so does Mad Max, but I had a hell of a lot more fun playing Mad Max, so get that.

What's wrong with the remake? I never beat Drek on the first one, but I've been looking at picking it up again. Everything points at it sucking more than the original, HOW!?

i never played the first one but i own 2 and 3. im goin to get this game. its 8 bucks so its not a big investment. its ratchet and clank so i know what im getting into

Also, Future and A Crack in Time is on sale for $5 each.

I'm almost finished with the latter and holy shit I shouldn't have waited this long. Such a polished, enjoyable time.
