I just picked up Untold 2, any tips? Never played these 'create your own adventure' kind of games before.

If you're playing Classic mode, try to build a party that can handle dishing out a number of different damage types (cut/stab/bash, fire/ice/elec) while also looking into not being too squishy/having some healing along. Ailments and binds generally are also useful in these games, so sacrificing something to include more of those is very viable.

If you're playing story mode then the default classes of the characters make an alright party.

Classic is git gud at getting your parrty together and minimal story.

Up to you, really. If you really want to get the pure EO experience then you play classic, unlike in the first Untold there isn't even any story mode exclusive game content besides the protagonist's class, Fafnir Knight. Story mode, despite its name, isn't all *that* fleshed out, but the characters are fun and it's another way to play the game.

Picnic is a cheat mode, play on Standard at the absolute minimum unless you get really stuck. The game is balanced around Expert - Standard requires the same sort of tactics but doesn't have as sharp teeth, whereas Picnic is literally like playing with god mode.

Do not listen to this man. I swear I'm not even being some weird elitist when I say you should play the game on Expert. It may start out tough when you don't have many skill points on your characters and their equipment is lacking and the enemies slaughter you, but when you learn how the basic gameplay loop works it really clicks and anything below Expert just feels like you're balancing the game heavily in your favour rather than the fine-tuned difficulty the devs made for Expert mode.

I find that they don't really grip me until around about level 15-20 when you've stopped putting points into mandatory skills and can start to specialise a bit. Just keep pushing.

Almost nothing in that image is handwritten, and it's really not bad at all. Most handwriting makes it impossible to tell the difference between シ & ツ, and ン & ソ.

Sure, but in situations like this it's common for voice options to get cut down in the localisation, in which case restoring the original full voice list will either be extremely difficult or plain impossible, meaning people would need to port the translation over to the Japanese game, which would take months if it's done at all.
