Bought Thea the Awakening for $10 after playing the demo and am enjoying it. Doubt I'll buy anything else, my console backlog is huge as-is. Got more than enough stuff I want to play to last till the winter sale.

Quite a bit. Well over $100 which is quite a lot for my usual sale spendings.

refunded hollow knight because it isnt my type of game. Now im deciding what to get next. i was thinking of black desert online but i know korean mmos can be super grindy. So i might just get borderlands 2 goty and half life 2

$30 in my Steam wallet and nothing to buy, mostly because I refuse to pay $4.99 for something that was $2.49 last year.

I think I'll just buy my favorite games again as gifts for other people.

Got Portal 1 and 2. Haven't played them since 2012 on PS3. Bretty good. Also Tomb Raider but I didn't play it yet.

How is Final Fantasy III for PC? The only ones I've ever played were 1 and 2. Doing some research on it, it seem like it is a port of the DS version which is essentially a remake of the SNES version. Anyone have it on steam and is it worth the money?

FF3 is for NES, not SNES. This is the one with the class system, not the one with Kefka.

Anyway the DS version reduced the amount of enemies you can fight per battle and to make up for it they increased the damage the enemies do. It's not a big problem but it kind of throws off the balance a bit because it's easier for one enemy to 1HKO you instead of needing two hits from two different enemies to do it, giving you a chance to either dodge or hit someone else.

That said I only played it on DS and still had fun with it and it's on my Steam wishlist to buy again, but not for $7.50. I know these SE bastards can go cheaper.

It's underrated, I've enjoyed it just as much as X-Com.

It's really difficult but more forgiving then X-Com in that your soldiers rarely die. Instead they get permanent injuries and experience. You end up having to decide if keeping your level 5 archer with one eye is worth it.
