How do I not get massacred? Should I TM Gordon and my Dragon? Do I just farm until I get God-Tier weapons (none of which will be useful if they my characters can't survive)

Another thing to considered is to try to get their weapon mastery up too as it not only unlocks more skills, it also gives them a better equip bonus too.

why, i get you want a bit more power, but you need hundreds of levels per rebirth to start seeing more than single digit gains.
Get your team a couple levels, try the Cave of Ordeals, the item world is kinda iffy, i don't like going in there unless i'm rocking legendary max rank items, or going after specialists.

Fuck the Item World, OP, go back to the level selection and choose the first stage that comes up when you pick Celestia, it should be the open feild with 4 Vampires.
They're standing on EXP+100% panels and have naturally low defenses. Try to get their HP low with your strongest guys then finish them off with a team attack to level up multiple units as needed.
Disgaea 1 has a ton of places for you to do some fast leveling, you'll be grinding twice as long if you do the Item World.

I'm going to try both of these things. Cave of Ordeals is defiantly a good sparing place and I didn't know about the armsmaster. Will keep my eye out for one.
Was hoping to beat 1 and move to 5 on my Switch wile I'm at the shore. I got 3 more days.
If I spend tomorrow prepping, I can probably beat him on Friday.
