Tekken 7 literally got lucky that SFV was a piece of shit and bombed. Literally everyone clowned the hell out of this game before SFV was released and flopped. That's the only reason the FGC overrated the fuck out of this game, cause they need a fighting game to champion since SFV failed to fill that role. It has some of the worst character designs I've ever seen in a fighting game.

Not quite. The armor itself and everyone having access to them IS new, but crush attacks are not, that is, moves that just straight up power through others. Law's ff+3 already being one of those moves just had armor added. If anything it makes the move easier to deal with.
