Pretty sure Atari didn't approach a hardware vendor but it was the other way around. Some no name hardware vendor approached Atari to use their brand and logo to slap on their device. I have a few suspects but the more interesting question is what storefront they're gonna use. I have some hopes about this one. Anything that's not a mobile market like droid would be a win for me.
