Dwarf Fortress, but don't play the newer versions. Dwarf Fort's difficulty got reduced in updates since 0.40 at the trade off of better history, world gen, storytelling and adventure mode. It's basically impossible to make your dwarves sad and psychotic in the new ones and there are less invasions.

If you get into DF, play an old version like 0.23, 40d or 0.34. 0.34 has the most tools and features of the old versions.

Is there any casual-friendly mod or pack for Dwarf Fortress?
Like having a menu with the mouse or something like that, I remember trying to play it and it was very tedious

DF's not a mouse game. Mouse-based UIs are clunky and too slow. Just use the keyboard and you'll get better once you start to remember the main hotkeys.

[d]esignations menu has all your dig, chop tree etc stuff. [b]uild menu has all your buildings in it, [b]uild>[w]orkshops to build your workshops. [z] shows you overall fort info. [a]nnouncements speaks for itself. [r] brings up your combat log so you can see Urist McDwarf's leg sail off in an arc.

Get the Lazy Newb Pack, or at the very least Dwarf Therapist. LNP is an all-in-one bundled launcher that makes it quick and easy to change game settings, change tilesets and load 3rd party utilities.

Dwarf Therapist (comes with the LNP) is a must-have for playing Dorf Fort. It lets you assign jobs to your dwarves easier than the ingame's shitty labor management system.
