Well, if the atmosphere made you somewhat uncomfortable, technically this is a horror game. Some bits hinted that there is a governament plot, some others that there is a killer wandering around, and in some occasions your character could have been in danger.
The idea that a plots builds up for a delusion is not new, movies and books have been doing it for centuries. So if you consider this as an interactive novel, fair enough, but it's not a game plot and they shouldn't advertise it as such
