New Vegas is buggiest game I've ever played. I bought it on launch and expected a few glitches like always from Bethesda but holy smokes I remember it being almost unplayable. It's not like the graphics were overhauled or anything.

automaton is good, adds tesla rifle, robots and a fun quest line for them, as well as the ability to make and customise your own robot followers and settlement guards

Nuka-world is good if you don't take it seriously, adds some neat fucking about stuff like a nuka nuke launcher and so on, the quest and area itself is nice enough but if you go all the way with it you end up infecting your commonwealth with shitty raider factions in your settlements which is lame considering the base game makes you play a good guy, doesn't really make sense

far harbour is good in that it's a legit story dlc, adds a decent amount of new stuff, new faction is alright and makes the brotherhood of atom guys less of a laughing stock, even if I still didn't care for them

the rest are a waste, don't bother unless you absolutely go full autismo mode for settlement building

Put some psycho in Cait's inventory

You play as an angry motherfucker with a nazi haircut and tear shit up with your irish waifu and tell that negro to piss off

Install copious amounts of quality mods or play New Vegas instead.

Nuka world lets you take over the commonwealth with raider gangs and turn farms into slave vassals basically. It changes how the settlement formula works a bit cause raiders hate doing shit like farming and have their own unique shops you can build for drugs and stuff.

Loved this game at first and thought all the hate for it was just contrarian shitposting. Then between levels 15-20 I stopped playing and haven't touched it since. It's not terrible it's just missing alot what made Fallout fun..the voices protagonist was a terrible idea and should be relegated to one-day through non-roleplaying games. It's too bad bc it is a good game, it's just not a GOOD game ya feel me brah

what do you find fun? theres decent gunplay, but we all know how quickly fights become one sided. i recommend "raider overhaul "and "war of the commonwealth "mods.

do you like the settlement building? enhance it with mods like "place anywhere", "scrap everything", and retextures for structures you like.

im pretty sure theres some alternate start type of mod like they had in skyrim if you hate the intro.

suffices to say, the vanilla games+dlc generally isnt fun. add mods or uninstall.
