I like slav culture but why do slav and people in general praise the modern slav culture (squatting in adidas) ? Why do people forget so easily the current culture is a ruin from communist's destruction ? Slav culture was beautiful before communism, today people laugh when they see "crazy things" in russia when it's the result of poverty, lack of solid structure and depression ? I don't get it.

World of tanks, Dota, CS are mainstream stuff, people who play a lot play the same stuff as an average euro or burger. Overwhelming majority plays on PC, very few - on xbox and PS, and literally nobody is aware of Nintendo's existence.

Russia is basically the same as everywhere else in the world, and you'd have to searc far and wide to find actual squatting drunks.

Three dudes on the OPs images are probably some high-paying managers from Moscow, thinking it's funny to buy tracksuits and squat and pose for a picture.

Maybe in some western countries, but where I live, Russian classic music, literature, cinema and theatre is generally considered to be some of the best in the world. And we otherwise absolutely hate the country and basically everything associated with it's recent history. Names like Dostojevsky, Tolstoy, Chekhov, Gogol, Pushkin, Solzhenitsyn, Tchaikovsky, Rimsky-Korsakov, Stravinsky, are considered absolute common knowledge and some of the pinnacles of their respective media.
Anyone with college degree will add Zamyatin, Bulghakov, Sorokin, Lukianenko, Musorgsky or Borodin, Rubinstein, to that list.
Russia is not exactly known for having lack of great classical artists.

You can't exactly compare the popularity of basic cultural tropes (like the tracksuits and squatting) with knowledge of classic arts and high culture.

What's your country ? Because this is what I think, I love their pre-communism culture.
What I blame is the fact that people are not aware that Russia is in an awful state actually, and funny memes from there are actually a representation of poverty and lack of education, structure and even culture.
It's hard to explain.

In my country, all kinds of PC games, mostly. Consoles are still a rarity.
Historically, there has been a long tradition of classic RPG's being in high demand. Fallout 1/2 have especially cult-like status among people of my age. Curiously, it can all be tracked down to a single game review magazine that actually went out of their way and translated the entirety of the two games, thus allowing people to get past the language barriers that used to be pretty bad in the 90's.

Most people I know grew up playing Fallout, Baldurs Gate, Morrowind, Gothic, Starcraft, Age of Empires, Half-life and Unreal (for some reason, Unreal Tournament has always been much more popular around here than Quake). Home-brewn games like Vietcong, Mafia, Hidden and Dangerous and Arma were always big, and so were games from our cousins: Witcher, Painkiller, Serious Sam.
I know there are few oddities of our market. For an example, I know that DOTA has always been dramatically more popular than LoL, and Battlefield was always more popular than CoD (hell, I remember us being perhaps the only country where Battlefield 3 outsold Modern Warfare 3 by a significant margin).
