Is the gameplay of ground zeroes the same as MGSV?
>>382134110
>G2A
Yeah, nah. I'd just pirate it if I cared that much.
>>382134310
Try pirating a multiplayer game, you loser.
Talk me into buying Darkest Dungeon. I'm real close to getting memed into it.
>>382134386
You must have a boner for 2D side scrollers and getting fucked over by RNG.
Couldn't play it for more than 3 hours myself, but it does have nice art.
>>382134386
good visuals, great soundtrack and voice acting
gameplay is fun and the game allows for multiple approaches (strategywise) to dungeons.
Have you ever wanted to wander a post-apo wasteland killing monsters and baddies on a 50's pop background ? Then Fallout©4© is for you. Only 25€ (!!) WITH the season pass. Great deal, if you ask me.
http://store.steampowered.com/app/452510/UNDER_NIGHT_INBIRTH_ExeLate/
Not the most hidden gem but UNIEL is well worth $7 if you like fighting games, especially if you have friends who will play with you.
>>382132749
Neptunia Rebirth 1, Fairy Fencer F Advent Dark Force, any of the Ys games or FFX/X-2.
I say Rebirth 1 instead of the other Neptune games because the later games reuse a ton of assets from 1 and is pretty repetitive as a series and cashes in more on blatant in your face fan service as it goes on instead of innovation or fun.

>>382132749
Also considering getting streets of rogue or deadwood but
>early access
Thoughts?
I like comfy and games like the Long Dark.
Slime Rancher or Subnatutica?
Is onechanbara steam port good or should I get for PS4?
Has anyone tried Diluvion?
http://store.steampowered.com/app/446790/Diluvion/
Looks like a cross between FTL and the sub minigame from FF7
>>382134382
>playing multiplayer games
>>382134786
Fuck, I meant Darkwood
>>382134813
Slime ranger is for girls, subnautica is the gay version the forest.
>>382134813
subnautica for environmental comfies
slime rancher for farming the land comfies
>>382134616
>multiple approaches (strategywise) to dungeons.
The fact it was advertised as so hard and the RNG made me nervous that it's one of those games where you have to min/max and only one or two builds are viable. Is that not the case?
>>382134813
Subnautica is much closer to Long Dark than Slime Rancher. Slime Rancher is more of a job/chore simulator. It's not bad, but it's certainly no atmospheric survival type of game.
>>382132749
If you are into dark humor and suffering, go for LISA. It's amazing.
>>382134950
I've heard it's fairly meh. There's not enough to it and the UI is cluttered to hell. Ten bucks, I might gamble, but don't get your hopes up.
>>382134628
UNIEL is definitely worth it. One of my favorites.
Question: how is Distance?
That shit has been on Early Access for ages, and thats not a good sign.
pic unrelated
>>382135031
>>382135045
But which one is the mostfun?
>>382134303
The stealth is a bit more bare bones - Snake isn't as agile and controls are a little weird. Basically the same game, but only five hours long... And you already know what happens.
RECOMMEND ME PUZZLE GAMES
RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
>>382134110
yuru yuri is a piece of shit so whatever this pic is about it's shit because of it.
want:
Gunpoint
I have;
Fallout 3
Fallout 3 GOTY
Fallout New Vegas
Just Cause
Organ Trail
Payday: The Heist
Super Hexagon
Tomb Raider
I will trade any 2 games for the one.
>>382135141
Not the case. BUT I recommend giving it a pirate first and trying it out because it's not for everyone (like me even though I played it for 40 hours)
>>382134624
> BUY MY GAME
>>382135391
Puzzle agent, turing test, portal.
>>382135279
It's great in it's current state. Worth the $10.
>>382135391
Hunie Pop was good.
I've got about 20 leafbucks left to spend. any recommendations or removals?I got Witcher 3 and Enter the Gungeon earlier
got £7 left what should I add?
>>382132749
Go grab any of the remastered Final Fantasy gems. You're almost obligated to play through them sooner or later. You can always trade them since they're constantly in demand.
>transformers devastation
>star wars force unleashed
>one piece pw3
Want one of these games they all require a controller, fucking awesome.
>>382135460
Is it actually hard, or will I be as frustrated as i was in catherine?
I'm used to roguelikes btw
Any good games with good lewd mods?
Guys, help a brother here, Age of mythology or The Banner saga?
>>382135672
What's the problem? Just use your Xbox controller or DS3/4
If you have a buck or two left in your steam wallet that you don't know what to spend on, I'd recommend One finger death punch. It's extremely simple, not easy to master, very addicting and gets the ol' ticker pumping.
http://store.steampowered.com/app/264200/One_Finger_Death_Punch/
How is Helldivers?
>>382135141
Fortunately there's not much minmaxing required/possible.
There are, however, class combos that you should keep an eye out for. Some cover eachothers weaknesses and this is worth paying attention to.
At any rate the only real RNG that can tip in your favor is crits/misses and who your enemies focus on. It's not -that- bad.

any four games for gunpoint.
i want to get rid of the shit games i want and i kind of want to play it right now without pirating it.
got 10 minutes before i buy it so i'd appreciate it if anyone wants to save me two dollars.
>>382135594
I'd skip drifter and daggers and get something more meaty.

is VA-11 HALL-A: Cyberpunk Bartender any good?
>>382135820
It's not hard, just a tedious grind once you get to a certain point. It's highly overrated and I recommend just pirating it because it gets boring very quickly.
Aw shit, the wolf among us for 6 yurops, might actually get that.
>>382135391

Action, RPG, 4X anything except Meme Knight and Nier

thanks anyway guys.
>>382136203
>It's not hard, just a tedious grind once you get to a certain point.
worst kind of "hard"... as much as I love dark souls, i hate how it spawned a lot of "hard games" that try to capitalize on how hardcore you have to be to play, but end up just being cheap.
>>382136050
what meaty game would you recommend?
>>382136475
pretty patrician aside from chernobyl. refund and get pripyat instead
>>382136552
The worst part of Darkest Dungeon is how disappointing the ending is. You break your balls grinding and being put through the wringer just to be presented with the most bland and predictable ending possible.
>>382136563
what are you looking for?
There's Subnautica and The Long Dark for more nature-oriented stuff.
Dying Light and Grim Dawn for single player RPG stuff.

Pick up the darksiders games, bastion, disgaea PC, dragon's dogma, system shock 2, postal 2 and bayonetta 1, if you want.
Drop evil within, watch dogs 2.
I'd be carefully optimistic about doom 4 if I were you.
Are there any games that let me kill characters without it messing up the plot? Like it'll change the plot around the fact that even if they're dead other things can still be done?

From what I've seen, Hollow Knight has a lot of cool looking boss battles and lots of combat based abilities, but from what I've played Ori has a lot more emphasis on exploring, platforming and movement, and has no major boss battles to speak off save a few generic miniboss type enemies. Buy in this order:
1. Bayonetta
2. Phantom pain
3. Doom
4. Hollow Knight
5. Nier Autonoma
6. Vanquish (if you don't already have it)
>>382141464
Binding of Isaac: Rebirth, Terraria, Transistor
First 2 will be an easy 500+ hours, maybe even 500 each if you're like most people and get really into them, best "bang for your buck" you can get. and Transistor is a great buy for the price. Spend the leftover on something cheap, there are tons of great games going for like $2 or less right now.

Who was your favorite Spec Ops character? The edgy guy that swore? The other edgy guy that swore or the edgy guy that swore but shot at you?
Not to mention the twist was better done in Black Ops 1 with an amazing performance from Gary Oldman as Reznov.
Also these story recaps meant for literal retards

>>382142053
Why do you keep posting this? Also do I Have No Mouth and Grim Fandango follow shitty adventure game logic where the items/combinations only make sense to the devs?
>>382142451
Name a TPS game with better squad mechanic controls
>>382142503
Also forgot to mention Spec Ops The Lines HORRIBLE fucking "squad mechanics" (read: there are none), which gives you a random button prompt to make them throw a grenade. Fucking worthless.
Looking for maximum comfy after refunding The Long Dark, what can you phagets recommend?
I was thinking of Sims 3 and ETS2, but a second opinion would be nice.

Yes, but we live in an era of guides
Either nut up or go play Telltale garbage

I played Discworld II, I know all about adventure game logic, it was just a question more than anything.
any opinions on pic related? I heard the ps4 version is better but is the steam version worth 3 bucks?

Ah okay good. Then you're a big guy then. I love Grim Fandango so much, and its puzzles can be so super difficult - butYear 2is without a doubt my favorite moment in video games.
Football Tactics.

If you don't like survival skinner boxes like Minecraft, you won't like Terraria.

The dlc add a lot of mechanics to the game. Every major dlc adds a new mechanic with a faction that has said mechanic at the core of it's gameplay.

Dreadout is great. It feels liek this PS2 or Wii game that got some old PC port in the 2000's.
Is Witcher 2 + Bioshock Infinite good for my last 20 bucks?
Who else /stickerbro/?
does anyone have a complete sticker set already?i kind of like them
>>382143861
It's much less about building, much more about combat and boss progression. Though the building options available in it also blow Minecraft away easily. If you want to see what the game is really about, just watch some videos of bosses or something. Watching someone fumble around a world and not doing anything will make it look much less fun than it actually can be. It's the kind of game that if you get into it and become invested in a world you'll spend a lot of time in it, and for $5 that's more than you could really ask for.
>>382143976
Is that even the correct context for the word, "skinner box"?
What are games that I can do something like build solely into luck and have fun with just that? Sorta like how Fallout does it.
>>382144071

What are some good cheap horror games? I never fucked with the genre on PC much. I have the Amnesia games.

Not going to be buying all of these as they'll just pile up my backlog, so are there any you would say are "must get" titles for now?
What are the best picks for under $5?
Should I get
All of these
OR
Guilty Gear Xrd + Rev 2 DLC which is like a burger dollar more (19.77)
Knowing Arcsys they'll announce another expansion soon right?
>>382145550
Bayonetta is essential.
A lot of peoplelike Hollow Knight.
Normally I'd say Transformers Devestation is cheap enough to justify purchase, but Bayonetta is out and it's better.lol nice non-integer scaling fag.

>>382146148

Is Guilty Gear Xrd Revelator worth it?
>>382144089
There is very little gameplay it's mostly move here and look at that. If you like really weird supernatural story then you'd like it, but don't expect to get the whole story right off the bat. Also the game is split in to two storys, the detectives, which I feel is better and the journalist which is amusing but get's a bit boring and more of a slideshow, they help fill in the whole story.
I am biased because I love the early Suda51 works, and they are remaking the sequel as well.
>>382132749
I really want to play a game like Final Fantasy I, but on PC. Are there any RPGs out there where you play a fighter, rogue, cleric, wizard group with little to no backstory, just a big adventure to defeat classic evil?
even if its gay, i really enjoyed OneShot, its 6 bucks, but i felt it was worth it.
Rayman Origins or Legends, or both if they're really worth it.
I'd also recommend Raiden III Digital Edition or Raiden IV: OverKill, but the PC porting seems a bit wonky for certain setups.

I just refunded this game. It does exactly what it says it does. Its a fast game like wipeout and f-zero but it feels lke the devs didnt care enough to keep their players hooked. There are at most 100 players online...most dont even play online. The game feels pretty dry...It made me bitter to feel like i can pirate this game and lose nothing from it.
I bought LISA and it's dlc, prison architect, just cause 2, and shadow of mordor while drunk. Good choices?

empyrion is promising, but it's still early access

A 2D action game can have as much depth as a 3D game with its controls or moving on a 2D plain ala a beat em up.
Stealth games are about avoiding enemies and finding different routes. In a 3D environment, this is much more complex. 2D games do not offer this complexity.
A good example is a mission in Chaos Theory: You can enter from the front, the roof or the side entrance. Calvino Noir tries to do something similar, but it fails to replicate the feeling. Mark of the Ninja just flat out is linear garbage.
Any good survival RPGs reminiscent of New Vegas on Hardcore Mode?

this is just flat out wrong
What I've bought so far. I had Rebirth I just bought afterbirth
is shadow of mordor actually fun? Combat seems incredibly shallow. Just sort of press a button and lunge around. Nemesis seems like it would be fun at first and get old really fast. World doesn't really feel like lotr just a typical open world map.

in my experience the slow down that happens whenever you get hit causes an actual framedrop and slowdown for like a second, causing getting hit again extremely easy
>>382155746
depends, what genres are you into?
>>382154680
>You can enter from the front, the roof or the side entrance
you can do that in 2D. MotN has tons of multiple entrances. you clearly have no idea what you're talking about.
>>382155786
That makes sense. I actually thought it was intentional and was one of the few complaints I had about the game. Getting hit is so distracting that you lose focus in a fight, making it easy to go from dominating a fight to getting destroyed if it is the first time fighting a boss.
>>382155816

Hows crosscode?
>>382155321
how many of the hidden areas did you find?
>>382155893
The problem is that they're easy as fuck to find (the few alternative paths that exist)
Because it's 2D, there are no walls that obscure paths
Find an alternate pathway through a vent in Chaos Theory is so satisfying. In Mark of the Ninja, it feels expected
>>382156024
exactly, it overcomplicates things and as far as I know there's no way to turn it off

Maybe some NIS rpg like Disgaea or Phantom Brave if you are willing to spend a bit more.
Not sure if you could call them Action games, but Shmups like Mushihimesama and Crimzon Clover are a blast
Maybe an ARPG like Torchlight, Titan quest or Van Helsing (I've heard these ones are pretty good despite the reviews, but who knows).
LISA is another great RPG.
Bastion is also another good choice if you've never played it, the narrator makes that game a sweet experience.
Crypt of the Necrodancer is a neat game if you are into rhythm games and roguelikes.
The original Fallouts can be fun if you can get over the old rpg gameplay.
Can't really think of anything else that might seem interesting. I just realized that I tend to stick to Metroidvanias and ignore games with a big/medium budget, sorry if this post isn't very helpful.

I also played a little Dankest Dungeon i liked it but i'm afraid it is too much repetitive. Talking about Dishonored 2, i liked the fist one so you can conveince me to not buy the 2nd only if it's worse than the first one.
