I enjoyed the first NIghts of Azure so I'll definitely pick this one up. First one had a decent story, excellent music, and I really enjoyed the general atmosphere of it. While playing it I kept thinking how much potential the game had as a series. It was shallow, but with some more time it could be a very good game. I'm glad they are making another

I've never played anything else by Gust though.

I don't get what you guys want. Not every company can make AAA games. The vast majority of games SHOULD be mediocre to average titles that are fun, but not necessarily amazing or highly memorable. The game is going to cost less than half a day at work to play through and will be amusing for the twenty or so hours it takes.
