They're upping the enemies but also adding more spawns and those crazy platforms with new treasure that wasn't in the base game. It's different-ish.

And the Trial of the Sword thing should add a few hours of interest, I guess.

At least the new DLC has some actual content in it. The first one was almost on Horse Armor level.

Camera resets the zoom after use instead of keeping it and when you cancel its use the sound effect is borked

Im really frustrated with this glitch Ive seen it reported by other peple online but not that many people have it, I have tried everything deleting the game data multiple times and redownloading the update, it seems nintendo is unaware the glitch even exists too

I'm trying to understand why Nintendo didn't include more things to do than collecting 962 little poops to get a poop trophy. I've discovered every shrine and I always got the impression they're preparing you for something bigger, for a real challenge. Then I went into Hyrule Castle and was pleasantly surprised how much you can do in there and how many things were connected, then I fought Ganon and it was a big letdown.

This DLC is very lazy. It just re-uses assets and doesn't add new enemies.
Even the armor doesn't have new functionality (aside from the korok sensor which is just baby mode since those are easy to find as it is)

The sword trial thing looks cool but I will probably wait until the second DLC pack come out and has more substantial content to it.

Like it's cool that they made the enemies more aware of your presence, but it doesn't do any good to have to fight silver enemies at the start of the game. You won't even have the items needed to effectively fight them. They just need to nerf the things that make the normal game easier and add more realism and that's good enough. I was really hoping there'd be a hardcore mode like in New Vegas or something.

Mini-bosses regenerating health is just the same as above, you kill them so fast that it doesn't even matter. Same as above, lit. like a single day or less of programming.

Korok Mask? Bullshit way of forcing us to wear a shitty mask and disable us from having any kind of set bonus while searching for Koroks just because they couldn't bother to simply ad an additional picture to the camera and let us use the radar.
The map shit that tracks where you were? It was already in the game so they basically did nothing for this at all. And I also find this totally useless.
Next is the teleport point, at lest it has some uses for some areas but with the amount of shrines available it's also quite limited yet again.

Basically, all this fir DLC gives you is BotW's version of the Cave of Ordeals so that your Master Sword is charged all the time. Yet another simple if variable in programming.

In the end, it's all about how good the trial of swords will be, everything else is reskins or useless shit. Apart from the Korok Mask if you don't mind losing set bonuses while searching which is basically throughout the whole game.
