I literally played 45 minutes.
I got some fun matches and met some nice players online on PS3 and some from here.
Then bought the game on PC considering that it would run better and be on par with the other versions, it turned out to be a gutted PS3 version that lacked content from the console counterparts and worst of all had no online for the first 6 months or something like that.

The trick is you need to sink 20 hours in to be sure there isn't anything engaging. Take Skyrim as an example - you running away from the dragon, get to see vast landscape and your very first small village has some basic quests, which in turn take you to your first dungeon, in front of the Yarl in Whiterun and then you fight a dragon with bunch of guards. It can take additional couple of hours to sink into some of the guild quests in the same city, and of course you're also busy with crafting your weapons/armor/potions/enchantments and levelling different stats, trying different playstyles (battlemage with sneak stats lol) just because you want to try what game has to offer. The moment you see that other quests are basically the same copy and paste dungeons, fighting with dragons are unimaginative and nothing ever changes you are way past 20 hours in the game. It's bloated with many different activities and the moment you realie there's nothing else going on in the world it's too late.

It wasn't as bad then, there were many ways to do some quests, like with talking with women about trating wounds instead of going in the harms way, or when speech stats actualy mattered. Game also offered you choices, like your megaton detonation for example. There was also feeling of progress. Now in FO4 you're getting best equipment super fast and game is basically shooting range with intermissions for building shelters. None of these games offer complixity of first two fallout games though, where quest related items could be stolen, bartered or taken away from dead body you just killed, you could be a savior of the desert or the asshole everyone despise, actual fights weren't so often and that you could have more than one companion with its own AI. The game complexity is in decline and that's why people hate bethesda. They're going for graphics and face creation tools first, but when it comes to actual roleplaying and story, they're going full retard.

Also Dark Souls 2, I preordered it but got stuck in that lava city thing and I stopped playing for 1 year and the price dropped a lot.

Anon thinks that hard fighting game means having normal hit + combo + super combo only valid option, since it's difficult to do proper combos by just mashing buttons. In Tekken you can pull off impressing tricks by doing just that, but it'll get you far only with unexperienced player. Tekken is in fact too hard to master for typical SF fanboy, since different stances offer different combos, and one juggle can drain half of your health bar. That is not happening in SF since landing more than 3 hit combo is impossible unless executing super.

Now take Dragon's Dogma as a counter argument - you're given option to take 3 basic vocations and with levelling up your playstyle changes. You have different pack of monsters which force you to change tactics, you also have big monsters that will take a beating from one class but will be unimpressed by the other. You customise your pawn, take other 2 pawns which also have different classes and then you go out and do quests to progress your story. You have locations that are vastly different with woods covered in mist, thieves fortress, windy mountain cliffs. On top of that there are some quests that appear on the notification board and these quests are actually comparable to quests in Skyrim. "Go and kill 20 wolves", but written with backstory, all of these quests you'll complete at the tavern. That's how different these games are and why DD is considered better than Skyrim. My main problem with skyrim is that all wepons are the same, there are no combos, just cinematic kills. That alone makes action RPG bad for me.

Graphics were glitched to fuck on my old AMD card. Couldn't get a refund because I was still playing it waiting for the patch that was supposed to fix it. Patch came and it still wasn't fixed.
