why does every job need a refillable resource now.
Ninki feels so tacked on it's stupid like why do the skills have CDs and a resource, lining that shit up with trick attack feels extremely wonky now and just overall not fun.

Noob playing as a Pugilisit, just hit level 20 the other day and haven't felt compelled to keep going in the free trial.

When does it get fun? So far it's just me circling fuckers doing a 1 2 3 combo and the quests are just "Go here and kill X of Y." My friend who started at the same time as me is playing as an Archer and loving the fuck out of it.

Dualcast signifier on the RDM hotbar doesn't seem too necessary since you'll generally use dualcast instantly unless you get that occasional instance where things die before you use it.

I do think Verstone/fire ready procs should be signified on the bar though, like having the top left get some stones on it and the top right burning when either proc is ready.

AST probably has it the worst though, but this is coming from someone who hasn't played it in a long time

I'm so sorry anon. Pugilist was the most fun class to play in the early game until two weeks ago.

When Stormblood came out, they literally removed like five different skills you would have had now if you played it before launch, reducing the class to just 1-2-3. Including a damage over time move, an alternate combo, a dodge move and a counterattack.

All in the name of making the game more casual friendly.

Knowing the timings for when bosses jump will enable you to force at maximum 1:15 seconds on your BoTD timer. Pop a nastrond right before a boss jumps and you gain at minimum 15 seconds of LoTD timer which translates to another 15 seconds of free BoTD after it expires. You have a change to then manually pop BoTD so your DPS isn't too fucked.

It's what I've been doing for Susanoo EXsince as soon as I get all the eyes I don't have time to pop 3 nastronds during his transition so I just use one and bank the time while I wait for Ame-no-murakumo to spawn.

I don't understand everyone's problem with scholar. I still find it fun to play, and have no problem with mana management. Ok, so we lost a dot and the new spells are kinda lackluster but everyone is so whiney about it.

Our level 60 ability was useless too. And now its even more useless with the addition of the level 70 ability because they actually clash with each other. You only gain meter for Aetherpact by spending stacks while your fairy is on the field. Dissipation desummons your fairy for more aetherflow stacks. So if you want to use those stacks to gain more aetherpact meter, you have to sit there and use nothing but MP abilities until you can resummon your fairy, at which point the MP cost, which is now increased across the board, just wouldn't be worth it.

They put no thought into it at all.

What Dissipation should be is:
Puts your fairy into hibernation for 20 seconds, instead of desummoning it, and every 5 seconds it gains 10 aetherpact meter. Doesn't give you the healing buff because we have Divine Seal cross class now. Still gives aetherflow stacks, but if they're not used before the fairy wakes up, they disappear.

And while we're at it:
Change Emergency Tactics into guaranteed crit on next adlo cast, probably with a longer cooldown. Because current Emergency Tactics is trash.

And just give us the PVP version of Chain Strategem in PVE. 10% damage up for 6 seconds (maybe increase the cooldown a bit). Costs a valuable aetherflow stack that half of our skillset is now locked behind. The short length also makes it not broken, especially when you consider the bullshit AST can do. Coordinating that to activate just as a DPS enters their burst phase would be a lot more fun than current Chain Strategem which is just "hit it on CD and hope RNG decides not to screw you today".
