Pick one character for each class you want to be leveling up. Feed them all those class cards. You get a 20% EXP bonus for feeding to the same class. If you are leveling Jeanne or Mash, who don't have class cards, then just feed them whatever you want.

Once you get a team up to a reasonable level (Lv.30-40 seems like it would clear all the current content) then you'll want to be selling/burning the silver cards in the shop. Those give 1 mana prism each, which requires the AP-intensive dailies otherwise to get. Buy up tickets, and possibly Fou cards with that.

The difference is units that aren't high tier 5 stars with good stats and skills are usable and aren't total trash. And this game does flood you with gems and tickets.

There's guaranteed 5 star gachas like once or twice a year.

It seems like everyone going for 5* is getting memed on.

There are some big of 5*. Even at max level, you can't have a full team of 5*, even ones with no equipment, because they're super expensive in team cost. It'll usually be better to have full teams of the best 4* and under guys with amazing equipment like Kaleidoscopes than 5* dudes. They are very rare, which means you'll probably never level up their Noble Phantasms. Having a 5* dude with a lvl 1 NP isn't great compared to the piles of 3* with maxed out NP you'll get over time. They just flat out are more expensive all around, needing more statues and experience and everything else.

It'll be several YEARS before we reach a point where 5*'s higher level cap is relevant in the slightest, because the content is so slow.
