I got the plat on both PS3 and PS4 for 1.5, mostly because nostalgia willed it.
If you're doing it on ps4 it's far easier because difficulty stacks and you only need to complete one gummi route's missions, and collect only 30 blueprints instead of all of them. Did it all in about 55 hours time.

I recently picked up 1.5+2.5 and was gonna marathon them all. Haven't played them in absolute ages, so I'm hoping they're better than I remembered. I wasn't really old enough to try going for 100% and playing games for all they were worth back then.

You'll eventually get there and it's fun minus some of the synthesis (sniper wild can eat shit and die) and the gummi shit in general. I recommend doing standard, proud, then speedrun beginner without changing equipment and using no continues. Trust me, way easier than you think.

I care about Kingdom Hearts 3.

I don't care about the thousands of spin-offs, prequels, side-stories, and other shit. I played KH1 and loved it. I played KH2 and loved it. And I look forward to KH3. The fact that there hasn't been a mainline KH game since the PS2 is shameful. I know the side games tell important story shit, but I honestly don't care. I'm sick of it. When KH3 comes out, I'll happily buy it. Till then, the series stopped at KH2 for me.

They somehow made the story more retarded, and the best game in the series is 2FM, which came out over 10 years ago. The more recent games are fine, but that's all they are. Fine.

If you're talking about base KH2 then it's "harder" because you deal less damage and don't get any starting abilities so fights drag on for ages longer than they should, so the little damage bosses kick out can actually stack up over the course of 20 minutes

Also on emulator there's input lag to deal with, which doesn't help, so that'd be "harder" as well

They really need to make the Disney world's part of the story rather than their own little events which are watered down retellings of the movies. Port Royale was the worst example of this.

I can't imagine being interested in the series for a long period of time (multiple years). Whenever I feel like KH I just play the original version of either 1 or 2 for like 70 hours and watch those plot catch up videos then forget about the series for another year or two.

I imagine there are quite a few people like that with this series.

I'm lukewarm, but I know the moment I hear the intro music to 3 I'll be all over it again. Even if it's just Simple and Clean or a medley of old songs.
