Even though I was born 1999 our old NES was the first game system I ever played, I remember the day that might have been my first time ever playing, Dad brought me out to the garage and sat me down in front of the old Samsung TV and handed me the controller, I played Mario/Duckhunt while he worked on a customer vehicle, I played the 64 and Gamecube too but I always loved that Nintendo.

When I was about thirteen my neighbor and his wife adopted an autistic son that was about my age. He didn't have many games so my mother thought, since we hung out a bit that we should lend them our old Nintendo just to play around with, eventually he got put into a different home, the wife left him to be a Jehovah's witness, and my neighbor was all alone, he had developed a slight drinking problem putting him into the hospital once or twice and I never really found out about the Nintendo.

It was recently I found out what happened to it though, he had sold it for booze money, my first ever console, the one I was going to give my kid when I had one, gone

'82 here as well. I've no idea what my first game is as it was either pong, Combat, atari pinball, or space invaders.

Childhood defining game I've no fucking idea. Played a lot of Mario 3 and Duck Tales.

Teen years was all about Chrono Trigger, Mario RPG, Turtles in Time, Blast Corps, S&K featuring Knuckles, FF9, lots of great stuff.

Current favorite as in recent or right now? Cause right now even despite all the bugs and glitches and annoying foul mouthed six year olds, Friday the 13th has been a lot of fun. I'd like to thank my dad for giving me his NES & Genesis when I was like 6 or 7.

Vidya has kind of dropped off as my main hobby over time but I'm still into them to an extent. I play fighting games and Smash with friends every week when at college and bust out some other games every once in a while by myself.

I'm probably going to get Tekken 7 this Summer (by trading in SFV which disappointed me) and I'm most excited for Dragonball Fighter Z out of any game on the horizon.

Sometimes I feel guilty that I haven't finished some of my games and haven't played a good amount of them in a while. I just have grown out of certain kinds of games and have a new top hobby that takes up my free time that isn't college or my Summer job.
