I'm really, REALLY glad if this shitty resolution would die on a small screen. I've sure had my time with the 3DS but damn does it demotivate me to play any new games coming out for it.

Both Triple Deluxe and Robobot are fun, but the latter is better. I'd still advise you to play both, in release order. If you play Robobot first and then move on to TD you might feel it as downgrade, even tho it's still very fun.

2D Kirby had to take one step at a time to get to where it is comfortably. 3D Kirby needs to similarly start off really fucking basic so they can figure out what works and how to expand on it and not ruin any games they might try with it.

I'm tired of glorified subgames.

It's the 25th anniversary this year, so they're releasing them as a celebratory millstone.

There's also a competitive multiplayer spin-off title coming out this winter, though we don't know anything about it quite yet.

I'm so glad Kirby is finally dabbling in 3D for us to play. This is a small jump from Robobot's side-game but it's looking nice and I'm glad to see it be playable since before the side-game I believe all we ever had before for 3D Kirby info was that canned Gamecube game which we only have 1 screenshot of (and Air Ride I guess). I hope they can make him fully work in 3D with copy abilities, nice gameplay & good level design one day. Also can we get a new Dedede model? This current one still isn't clicking with me.

They're both good, but you should definitely play both in order. Robobot expands on what TD did and plus Robobot has several references to the game which would go over your head if you played Robobot first (although I guess that means you should play a few of the older games also since Robobot is filled with references).

Kirby games stopped being good after Kirby Superstar. After that, they became the same rehashes with no challenge whatsoever.

My last Kirby game was Triple Deluxe and it was terrible.
