Runs alright for me. Gameplay wise it's okay. End-game with the last 20 or so players is usually really boring IMO. But I enjoy lootin and shootin in the early to mid-game. Hoping modded servers add some flavor to it since the whole Battle Royale thingy is meh to me, and I'd prefer more of a DayZ-esque survival mode.

Anon, I felt the same way about all of these games. While my friends were buying every iteration of the survival genre, Dayz, The War Z, H1Z1, I never wasted a dime on those obviously shit games. However when I saw gameplay of this game, I finally broke and bought it, and I am very happy with the purchase. I'v put almost 250 hours into it at this point, and if you'v always been a detractor of these games I implore you to try out this one. If nothing else just refund it if you don't like it. You can easily get through 4+ games before the 2 hours is up, and you'll know by then if you like it or not.

7700K, 1080 and 32GB ram. It runs great at 1440p. It's unoptimized and with some bugs but it's the most fun I've had in ages.

i dunno, im starting to think early access is a really bad idea. putting aside the whole "you are paying to be a beta tester" thing it seems like many early access games either 1) earn a lot of money and the devs become lazy because they already have the cash now or 2) get demotivated from negative feedback because customers just dont understand that the game isn't fully done yet. and why shouldnt they have the right to complain, they are paying good money for something after all.

My girlfriend loves this game and makes me play duo and squad with her and honestly I dont have any fun playing it. You spend 10-15 minutes searching for good loot just to be headshot from across a field while driving a car or one shot by shotgun from someone hiding in a bath tub and it just feels like I waste my time. What are other good games that I could play with my girlfriend that would have similar appeal?

Runs okay otherwise, but it keeps freezing for fractions of a second. Not fun when that happens in a fight.

Doing OK. CPU is running at 5.19GHz and GPU is at 2062/6264 MHz (core/memory respectively). RAM needs some more fine tuning. I have it set on auto still so it is only at 2962MHz (it was at 3700MHz but I forgot to save before updating my bios).

The game is 6/10 at best. Even when the game leaves EA it will still never be more than a 6/10.

It's a shallow shadow of Battle Royale, but it's still a little less casual/arcadey than H1Z1.

Retarded fun, especially with friends, but objectively not a good game.

To all the "I wish I wasn't shit" people, this game relies HEAVILY on RNG, even more so than ArmA BR which is saying a lot.

I use to complain about the RNG aspect of BR, which was about 25% if I had to put a percentage to it, but with PUBG it's like 75% if not more.

Do not feel bad about not being "good", because good in this game is like being good at poker- just learning how to deal with random odds better.

I win quite a bit, usually top 10 if I get past the 10 minute mark, easily get 8-12 kills per game, but it's still a throw of the die. Most of the time when I die it isn't "oh wow, he outplayed it", it's "that was unlucky".

This is the one time I hate third person since it ups the RNG factor since anyone could be abusing third person at any given time in any given place.

Once they add first person to matchmaking the skill floor and ceiling will finally separate and you will finally be able to legitimately "git gud".

The point of the game isn't about running around like a retard pretending it's CoD shooting everyone, even though this is what the Twitch audience wants you to believe. The point of the game is to survive. The longer you survive, the better you did. To objectively win the game you must be the last alive. Technically, you don't even need to kill anyone to win. If you played against MrGrimmmz where he killed half the server, but you end up winning against him in the final 2 because he died outside of the circle you objectively did better than him.

My PC defaulted everything to Ultra and it was running decent except for the occasional frame rate dip.

Ending up putting everthing on low (foilage very low) except for View Distance which I kept at ultra.
