Hmm, might be time I tried this game again.

I got up to U-10 and rage quit forever. Combined with the bosses before the boss area they are a garbage pay-wall and grind masqurading as a boss. They ate so many of my coins with their instant-kill attacks and then I ran out of weapons making the coins I'd put into it wasted. Then of course that means my character was fucked so I lost my investment in the end-game.

My angry whingey rant aside: What do you recommend as gear level?

Because to be honest I was handling everything pretty fine up until U-10. And yeah, it's less instant and more like one hit puts me to 30% health or less, then I can either die and use a limited DM to heal or use a limited mushroom.

There isn't much margin for error, and nothing at a pace that'll let me cheaply learn this bosses' moveset.

And the guides I checked out said: "Hell this boss isn't too bad once you have the gear and characters received from beating this boss!"

My mistake for not rolling Defender, which apparently can take the hits.

I just wish the upper levels didn't require so much grinding, I stopped around floor 30 something because it felt like my weapons/armour just weren't up to scratch

Will probably re-install and give it another go once the big patch drops, but I'm playing through Nioh at the minute

what 4th stage gear should I aim for? I want night scout but im missing the chest piece and cant find it to save my life. Ive been working on spec. forces because it isnt material intensive and it looks like it will get a 4th stage in the update.

Got all the trophies except 100 captures. Probably wont be going bavk to it any time soon. Too much of a hassle to farm money, have no grade overpowered defenders and still make trips for money for mats to upgrade anything decent.
