This is how I feel about PS2 games. The cynic in me thinks emulator devs just call it quits as soon as they can get their favorite game to run decently.

straight up OpenGL hardware works great for just about everything (unless you have AMD drivers), game-specific hacks are autoapplied last time I checked, and settings are saved so it's not like you have to constantly configure things
