I view games the same way I view sports. It's a fun hobby that you shouldn't take too seriously unless you plan on making a career out of it.

I agree, I also see a similarity in the fact that most people prefer to play what they did when they were children. It's like I grew up playing Football since I could walk, and I still can appreciate a soccer game even though I never played, but I still much prefer what I grew up with.
