As laughable as this is, the sole fact that PUBG is PVP blows it out of the water in depth. A PVP game will almost always have more opportunity for strategic play than a singleplayer one, save for like, Pong.

Almost all of Killing Floor's 'playstyles' are shoot Zeds in the head, or wait for your sharpshooters to shoot a zed in the head if it's a big zed that can cause problems.

Pros:
-Has none of the tedium of the survival systems or zombies from any of the other 'survival/battle royale' games on the market. No food, no thirst, no infection, etc.
-Has systems in place to ensure people are forced to confront one another. There isn't any hiding in the ass end of nowhere.
-There is a definitive time limit for each round.
-Dying is not an issue since it doesn't take long to get back in and there isn't the mentality of needing to keep and secure rare or precious loot.
-Because there is no real value in your loot you never run into people disconnecting to save their asses and their precious gear.
-Pretty good gunplay with distinguished roles for weapons both in general classes and within them.
-Gamesense, positioning, map knowledge, and psychology are highly rewarded. You don't always have to be a better shot than your opponent if you can outsmart him or anticipate their movements.
-You can play solo, play as a duo with a friend, or go in a squad of 4. Solos and duos/squads play very differently from another. In solo every fight is a cat and mouse game and in squads there is room for and benefits to applying small unit tactics.

Cons:
-You might encounter poor stability
-The game is poorly optimized currently
-There aren't universally locked settings so people can disable or lower options that give them advantages over people that have them enabled
-Vehicle physics are a pretty fucky if you run into anything or hit a dip or rise in the terrain suddenly
-If you are vehemently against third person camera in shooters it's not the game for you
-The pub community, like most online games, is absolute trash, both at playing the game and at not being assholes.

I'm not going to include snipers as a con because anyone getting headshotted can only blame themselves for not constantly moving erratically, even when they think they should be safe. I'm also not including third person as a con inherently because it applies to both parties fairly.

People who complain about the game being campy or boring only have themselves to blame as well. It's your choice whether or not to camp until you are forced to move. The best players, and the people who get the most out of the game, are highly aggressive killers that don't shy away from confrontation. You have to go into it with the outlook that you are going to kill your way to the final circle, not hide and camp. People who hide and camp till the top 10 rarely win because they don't have the aggressive spirit and frame of mind needed to kill all the other killers that made it that far.
